Let us celebrate the “Land Day” in a different way. During the whole month of April, we encourage you – our followers and members – to go in the outdoors, pick up a piece of trash (or a whole bag) and post a photo of yourself using the hashtag #LeaveNoTrash.
Social media often gets a bad reputation and it is hard to associate a sense of activism with posting a photo. By taking this small action and picking up some trash during this month, you can show your family, friends and followers your commitment to “Leave No Trace” and tell people how important it is to you to protect the outdoors and enjoy our public lands responsibly.
Happy hiking!
